This has been a long journey and I understand how intensive this course has been but we have reached the destination. I hope you have enjoyed the reading class - I am aware that sometimes was too much but I must say I am very proud of you especially for being enthusiastic in blogging. Biography

Sometimes, a biography describes a person's whole life from birth to death. At other times, the writer concentrates on a particular period in a person's life. We will be reading biographies of famous Australian and other people. We will practise completing a time line, making notes of key points such as events, turning points, achievements.

THE LEGAL SYSTEM

The law affects almost everything you do and in each situations, the law is there to protect you. We will be learning about the legal system that consists of a number of institutions such as parliaments, courts and prisons. In this unit we will cover the court structure - hierarchy, juries, making laws, rights, responsibilities and protection under the law.
